By Their Lights is a visual collection of images, characters, and stories drawn from my years in London, where I worked as an editorial photographer alongside and in support of the LGBT+ community.

Developed through magazine commissions and independent projects, the work explores identity, intimacy, and self-representation, portraying individuals through a shared language of trust, presence, and mutual recognition.

These photographs are shaped by collaboration rather than observation, reflecting a lived proximity to the community and a commitment to visual storytelling.

This research moves beyond representation, becoming a personal visual and identitarian vocabulary through which I shaped my understanding of beauty—by exploring, absorbing, and questioning the meaning of queerness.
