Storia dell’arte universale racconta il viaggio di redenzione e trasformazione di un giovane ragazzo, che perso nella libertà Berlinese di altri tempi si ritrova schiavo di se stesso e della realtà che ha creato per se stesso, fino ad arrivare a trovare la completezza nell’arte.

“Storia dell’arte Universale” tells the journey of redemption and transformation of a young boy who, lost in the Berlin freedom of another era, finds himself enslaved by himself and the reality he has created for himself, until he ultimately finds completeness in art.

MARTIANS ON VENUS
Spin off project part of “STORIA DELL’ARTE UNIVERSALE”

is a photonovel base on the photoset taken by Andrea D’Aurea in Berlin in 2016 is and it tells the story of an interplanetary encounter between the feminine civilisation of the Venusians and the masculine Martians.

In the central metaphor of this photo novella, Andrea sought to provide a psychological subtext to his candid shots through the conventions of sci-fi and erotica.

The Martians arrive on Venus conscious of their own superiority. But it’s a superiority that is quickly subverted by the erotic moment. In his portraits, insecurity, bewilderment, and stone-faced annoyance, register on the faces of the Martians as they’re reduced to passive and ingenuous observers.

It is a momentary overthrow of the complacency of male entitlement. The male defeat captured here on analogue reflects the sub-surface complexes in every man.

Una fotostoria basata sul set fotografico scattato da Andrea D'Aurea a Berlino nel 2016 e racconta la storia di un incontro interplanetario tra la civiltà femminile dei Venerei e i maschili Marziani.

Nella metafora centrale di questa fotostoria, Andrea ha cercato di fornire un sotto-testo psicologico alle sue foto attraverso le convenzioni della fantascienza e dell'erotismo.

I Marziani arrivano su Venere consapevoli della propria superiorità. Ma è una superiorità che viene rapidamente sovvertita dal momento erotico. Nei suoi ritratti, l'insicurezza, lo sconcerto e l'irritazione impassibile si registrano sui volti dei Marziani mentre vengono ridotti a osservatori passivi e ingenui.

È un rovesciamento momentaneo della compiacenza del privilegio maschile. La sconfitta maschile catturata qui su pellicola riflette i complessi sotterranei in ogni uomo.
