Lucone, a schizophrenic clochard hitting the streets of Rome try to convince everybody he is the most famous and rich person in the world. But his real struggle is surviving his addiction to alcohol and psychotropic drugs. His nephew and film-maker Andrea will come to rescue him at a crucial point, with a plan that will bring him back to stardom and health.

Indeed, doctors deem Luca beyond saving.
In a bid to persuade Luca to abstain from alcohol, Andrea concocts a narrative. In this tale, Angela Merkel (Luca's favored European politician) offers him the opportunity to produce a film documenting Lucone's theatrical comeback, to be showcased at the Berlin Festival. The sole stipulations of the contract are that Lucone must maintain sobriety throughout filming and heed Andrea, his newfound agent.
Throughout the realization of this project, Andrea discovers invaluable assistance in Raffaele Castria, a theatrical director long devoted to Luca and individuals akin to him at the Valle Aurelia Day Center. With their support, along with that of their theater company "Voce della Luna," Andrea achieves his goal, ushering Luca back onto the stage. This time, driven solely by a passion for the arts.
